About

HPOJ was created as a platform to help programmers make it big in the world of algorithms, computer programming and programming contests. It is built on top of an online judging system for the automatic assessment of user-submitted programs to help users better hone their programming skills. This application is built using various open source projects such as DOMjudge, QingdaoU, Universal OJ, Don Mills Online Judge, and Sharif Judge. We thank the authors of these projects and respect corresponding attributions. We aim to serve as an Intra-college programming community that fosters learning and friendly competition amongst students.

Code@Amrita Club

Code@Amrita is the competitive programming community of Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore. We are committed to promoting the coding culture and introducing students to various contests such as ACM ICPC, Google Codejam, Codechef Snackdown, Facebook Hacker Cup. HPOJ will be the official online judging platform for Code@Amrita.

The club's sessions focus on mathematics, data structures, algorithms, and are aimed to produce programmers with good talent in problem-solving. If you have good programming / problem-solving skills, you deserve this community.

Our Story

From two college friends (Kailashnath and Akash) who took an idea to reality, HPOJ is for Amritians, and by Amritians. Certain features have been built and customized based on the pedagogy research conducted in association with the department of CSE and the COmputational thinking Research and Education (CORE) Lab. We look forward to contributing to the coding culture at Amrita and make more people involved in programming and problem-solving.

Quick How to Begin

The first thing you need to do is to sign in. Then find a problem from one of the extensive problem sets, write a solution in your favorite language and submit it. Next switch to the status page and watch the progress of judging your solution. After few moments, you would see the result. We wish best of luck to see an AC (Accepted submission).

If you are unable to find the problem you are looking for, contact the site admin.
